Hello! I’m so glad you stopped by this page to meet me. I’ve been the senior pastor at Tarpley Baptist Church, Tarpley, TX since 2019. I feel truly blessed to serve here.
I’ve been privileged to serve with my best friend, Lisa, in ministry for more than 30 years now. It is hard to believe this September will mark 35 years of ministry. This year also marks 39 years that Lisa and I have been married. God has blessed us with three adult children and four grandchildren.
As for my ministerial history, Tarpley is my 3rd pastorate. Calvary Baptist in Tyler, TX was my second pastorate. I served there from April, 2005 until October 2019. I was blessed to serve as the senior pastor of the First Baptist Church in Worland, Wyoming for eight years before moving there. I was also privileged to serve on the ministerial staff in Copperas Cove, Cotulla and Harlingen (Texas) will attending college and serminary.
Education has been a priority for me and I’ve been blessed to sit under the finest teaching available. I hold degrees from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Southwestern Seminary and Denver Seminary.
I’ve been keeping a record of my teaching at this site for the last 5 years. Previously, while serving in Tyler, our church’s website was hacked and we lost all of my sermons and Bible Studies. I’d love to hear from you or to answer any questions you might have.
